I was wandering in the yard of Avalokitesvara Temple in Old Banten when I saw these beautiful lions as the temple guards. Facing the guards, the lion on the left was so cute. This female sculpture was made to pour so much love and care to the baby lion in its hand while the lion on the right seemed to be the male.
I was so attracted to the expression of its love and caring so I didn’t see the trash bins behind the sculpture. Oops… the eye-catching yellow trash-bins were captured as the background…
