WPC – A Tiny Bird For My Heart

Although not frequent but it’s happened in my trip. Beside the happiness, I become cranky after visiting all the points of interest in my limited time. Perhaps I am too tired or overwhelmed. In such situations, usually I take more time to rest at night. But sometimes by taking a rest does not make me better.

In fact my tiredness is not physical but more on the emotion and feeling. If it is so, I have a way to make myself more patient. It is by making a paper crane origami, a Japanese way of paper folding to make a bird which is representing peace, from standard to small size, and even a tiny one.

In accordance to this week’s photo challenge with Tiny theme, then I submit this photo. I made these origami by myself using variety of paper sizes and colors. But for making the tiniest one, I use a 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm square paper. As you can see on the second photo, I put it on my fingertip, so tiny… 😀 😀

Can you imagine how to fold the small paper with my fat fingers? LOL…

Well, that’s happened to me and of course it’s quite difficult 🙂

But somehow, I keep trying to finish it up so I have to be patient and not to give up. Perhaps when I fold a paper to make a paper crane origami, I always remember the story of Sadako Sasaki, the survivor of Hiroshima atomic bomb who never gave up folding the paper during her treatment to seek peace for the world.

And that is the way, by folding a paper into a bird, – a standard or even tiny size -, I could make peace to my own heart…

How about you? What do you do to overcome your bad mood in your trip or in your daily life?
