Pashupatinath is a famous and sacred Hindu temple complex which is located on the bank of Bagmati River, in the eastern part of Kathmandu, Nepal. As one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu Valley, Pashupatinath has numerous religious buildings.
On the eastern bank of the river, visitor can see several similar white shrines, most of them are devoted to Shiva. These buildings are made from stone and decorated with intricate carvings with Shiva lingam installed inside the shrine. From the end of the shrines, through the windows of the holy buildings, visitor can see these lingams in a straight line.
