WPC – Oops! Holes In The Old Suspension Bridge

Old Bridge in Nepal

One memorable moments I experienced during trekking in Nepal last April, I had to cross a small old suspension bridge with holes in it! I had to check the strength of the wooden bars in every step I took. Scary of course but it really gave me an adrenaline rush 🙂

Yes, I have to admit that from trekking I learnt so many things. And regarding to my situation at that time, I feel the wise words below are perfect to share,

Until you cross the bridge of your insecurities, you can’t begin to explore your possibilities (Tim Fargo)

Faith isn’t a feeling. It’s a choice to trust God even when the road ahead seems uncertain.

  1. I know this bridge, the old one on the Dudh Khosi on the flat bit before Namche Hill. I was nearly pushed into the river here by a yak running away from its owner until my Sherpa friend threw himself on top of me to stop me sliding down the large boulder into the river!

    1. Wow… that was surely a scary experience. I had also experience with yaks. I had to run from the middle of the bridge before yaks walk into the bridge. Felt like no air anymore in my lung to have a sprint with yaks in a suspension bridge hahaha…
By the way this bridge is not in Khumbu but it’s near Landruk (Annapurna Sanctuary) when I did on April this year.
